Breakdown of Fees and Applicable Charges

For the 2026-2027 Academic Year

I. Fee Categories & Financial Accessibility

At SASE, there are three types of fees:

1. Registration Fees
2. Tuition Fees
3. Living Expenses (Accommodation and Meals)

II. Fee Determination and Socio-Economic Considerations

The total cost of studies including tuition, accommodation, and meals is tailored to each student's socio-economic background. Our approach is built around a comprehensive scholarship program and considers a range of factors, particularly the financial situation of parents or legal guardians.

Fees related to tuition, accommodation, and meals are determined based on the families' ability to contribute. This sliding-scale fee system applies to all students, regardless of nationality.

The fee-setting process is designed to ensure that financial constraints do not pose a barrier to accessing SASE. In this regard, the institution upholds as a core principle the provision of high-quality education accessible to all students.

1

Registration Fees

Registration fees are fixed and must be paid by all students, regardless of nationality, at the start of each academic year. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the registration fee for the Bachelor program is 5,000 MAD.

Administrative registration is considered final once the required fees have been paid. Payment of these fees grants access to the institution's facilities, including indoor and outdoor sports facilities, the swimming pool, the library, study areas, and the Learning Center.

2

Tuition Fees

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the annual tuition fee for the Bachelor program is 75,000 MAD. These fees cover instruction as well as access to the institution's academic services.

3

Living Expenses (Accommodation and Meals)

Living expenses include costs for housing and meals. These fees are structured to reflect the families' ability to contribute and ensure that all students have access to safe, comfortable accommodation and nutritious meal options throughout the academic year.

On-Campus Housing Options

Monthly fees depend on the type of accommodation:

  • Two-bedroom apartment (private room): 2,300 MAD
  • Three-bedroom apartment (private room): 1,900 MAD
  • Residence floor with more than three rooms (private room): 1,900 MAD

SASE guarantees on-campus housing for all enrolled Moroccan and international students. Accommodation assignments depend on availability and the number of requests.

Meals

The campus provides a variety of dining options, along with a convenience store for groceries. All students receive subsidies for meals at the university cafeteria (kiosks and cafés excluded).

III. Scholarships and Financial Aid

Guiding Principles of SASE

Supported by the Ibn Rochd Foundation for Science and Innovation (FIRSI), SASE implements a scholarship and financial aid program designed to promote equitable access to education. This program is intended for high-potential students, both Moroccan and international, and aims to support them throughout their journey in a program of academic excellence.

The total number of scholarships awarded each academic year for the Bachelor cycle is determined by the Scholarship Committee and depends on the annual budget allocated to SASE.

Scholarship Program Description

The scholarship program is based on a primary scholarship, the BUCS Scholarship, complemented by an Elite Excellence Scholarship (EE); the two scholarships are complementary and can be combined, up to a maximum of 100% of tuition and living expenses.

Financial support may take the form of a reduction in registration and tuition fees and/or partial or full coverage of accommodation and campus living costs, depending on the student's profile.

Awards are determined based on an assessment of the candidate's application by the SASE Financial Aid Committee.

Scholarships are valid for the relevant academic year, from the start of the academic program through the completion of annual assessments.

The scholarship program is part of an excellence initiative that combines academic merit with social considerations.

Types of Scholarships

Excellence Scholarships (EE)

Funded by UM6P, this deliberately elite scholarship aims to reward students who top the admission competitions, regardless of social background. It covers a percentage of tuition fees, including registration and study fees.

Eligibility and Scholarship Retention

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a SASE scholarship, candidates must:

  • Maintain strong academic performance throughout their program to retain their scholarship.
  • Demonstrate financial need, showing that their resources cannot fully cover tuition and/or campus living costs.
  • Meet social eligibility criteria, verified at application and subject to periodic checks during their studies.

Once awarded, the scholarship rate remains in effect for the entire academic program, except in cases of sanctions due to academic performance or changes in the student's financial situation, such as an increase in income.

Scholarship Award Procedure

After the entrance exams (psychometric, Horizon, written, and oral) and based on a combination of the exam score and the results from the last two years of high school, the eligibility results for admission to the first year of the Bachelor program at SASE are announced.

It should be noted that, during the initial stage of the application on the platform, the strength of the applicant's motivation and the care taken in preparing the application are key factors. The use of generative AI tools, plagiarism, or collaboratively written motivation statements are considered violations and may negatively affect both scholarship eligibility and final admission.

Each candidate is awarded a scholarship percentage for the three components: tuition, accommodation, and meals. Scholarship allocation also depends on merit, assessed through the student's academic record including continuous assessment, regional or equivalent high school exams, national baccalaureate results, and the final written & oral entrance exam performance. Given similar financial situations, ranking is the deciding factor, provided academic results meet the required standards.

Any false declaration or alteration of documents submitted in support of a scholarship application will result in automatic cancellation of the scholarship and repayment of any funds received. Legal action may also be taken in cases of fraud.

The Ibn Rochd Foundation for Science and Innovation (FIRSI) reserves the right to conduct audits of scholarship recipients, either directly or through authorized representatives, and may request additional documents or evidence as needed.
